I have added a link to the webcam just outside one of my client's offices. It looks North out over the street on to the Parilament Buildings of Canada. This is where the members of Parliament meet each week in the "House of Commons" on what we call in Ottawa - Parliament Hill. The buidlings are built on an escarpment overlooking the Ottawa River. This was originally a defensive decision to control potential enemy movements if an attack were to come from that direction. The hill / escarpment where the Parliament buildings reside is made of solid granite.
The city you see in the background is the City of Hull in the province of Quebec. The Parliament buildings are in the province of Ontario, within the captial City of Ottawa. They are separated by the Ottawa River.
The webcam is owned by Canada's national "Weather Network" - whiich forcasts the weather based on information from Environment Canada each day.
